History research: interest in book project

Seeking professional researcher/writer with expertise and demonstrated track record of published research by government or university publishers in subject areas such as:
Natural history and conservation, National Parks and/or national forests and wilderness management and history, resource management history, forest management history, history of the American West, history of the Rocky Mountain regions, history of the Pacific Northest, history of the Southwest, Native America, etc. Also some experience working for state and/or federal land management agencies is desirable.
Researcher should be based in greater Denver area within driving distance for research purposes; alternatively in the Washington DC area or within reach for research purposes.
Purpose of this notice is to solicit interest in partnering on a proposal to research a history book for a federal agency. Remuneration would be subject to winning award for at least a 12-month contract, with extensions, beginning in approximately July, 2009. Not asking for help writing proposal, only to be under contract as research associate if awarded. Researcher would receive full acknowledgment in publication.
