ASU’s Critical Languages Institute is still accepting applications for summer, 2009 for courses in
Albanian I and II; Armenian I and II; Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian I and II; Macedonian I and II; Russian II and III; Tajik-Persian I and II; Tatar I and II; and Uzbek I
Courses are
**8 weeks
**8 credits (one academic year’s worth of instruction)
**Tuition free (with a $500 non-refundable registration fee)
** Held June 8 - July 31, 2009 on ASU’s main campus in Tempe
ROTC cadets are encouraged to apply for our special CLI+ program in Russian, Tajik-Persian and Uzbek.

A 6-credit, tuition-free advanced mastery Albanian course for advanced graduate students and heritage speakers interested in professionalizing their language skills (for translation, archival, and other work in the language) will be held June 22-July 31 in Tempe.
ASU also offers language intensive three-week, two-credit study abroad programs for Albanian, Armenian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Macedonian, Russian, Tajik-Persian, Tatar and Uzbek. The study abroad programs run August 3-21, 2009 and are open to qualified non-CLI students.
