Blue Pine Books invites submissions of papers on the topic "World Religions and Peace" for possible inclusion in an upcoming publication of collected articles. The resulting book will investigate peace from the theoretical and practical perspectives of an array of religious traditions. Within the frame of World Religions and Peace, submissions may address such issues as the individual and peace, society and conflict resolution, environmentalism, world peace, culture and peace, scriptural bases for/against engaging in peacemaking practices, historical examples of religious figures and peace.

DEADLINE for submissions: September 30, 2009
GUIDELINES: Electronic submissions are acceptable in Word, WordPerfect, PDF or HTML formats. Please use standard academic style (Chicago or MLA). References must be cited in full. Papers should be written primarily in the English language with non-English citations in transliteration or appropriate scripts.
