REGIONAL CONFLICT AND TRANSATLANTIC RELATIONS

The History, Diplomacy and Security panel would like to announce the call for papers for a set of panels dealing with Transatlantic issues that arise from the co-operation and the tensions that accompany US, UN or NATO interventions in regional conflict and war since 1945. The organisers would particularly welcome papers on:

• Truman Doctrine
• Korean War
• Suez Crisis
• Cuban Missile Crisis
• Vietnam War
• Yom Kippur War
• Central American crises
• Gulf War
• Bosnia
• Kosovo
• Afghanistan
• Iraq

These areas are indicative suggestions and the organisers would also welcome other case studies or thematic issues that arise in a number of cases taken together. The organisers would liker to keep the remit broad to encourage contributions from a range of disciplines and perspectives.
