The meeting features a keynote address by Professor Lisa McGirr (Harvard) on "Prohibition and the Making of Modern America". The programme also includes panels on twentieth-century social and fiscal policy, government regulation, race & diplomacy, civil rights, the early Cold War, the West, the New Right, the Reagan Years, and Clinton’s foreign. It also features panels on historical memory and on twentieth-century music.
