Call for Papers for the Fourth Annual South-East Hub for History a postgraduate conference to be held at Rutherford College, University of Kent, Canterbury, 18th June 2009. The conference invites any postgraduate from the UK to submit a 300 word abstract on the theme of 'Continuties', historical or historiographical, by April 30th 2009. The South-East Hub for History Conference is free conference organised by postgraduates for postgraduates and because this is a funded postgraduate conference there is no conference fee and we will subsidise your travel expenses. To encourage continuity of thought, a prize of £150 will be awarded for the best paper which addresses the theme of the conference in response to the speakers topic or field of historical research. Papers will be 20 minutes in length, followed by time for questions. For further details please see the conference website.
