Pickering & Chatto’s ‘Warfare, Society and Culture’ series publishes works that integrate analysis of military operations and combat into wider social and cultural analysis, and that examine warfare as more than a European phenomenon. Warfare, Society and Culture invites titles comprising a period from the early modern era and its ‘military revolution’ to the twentieth century.
