Contributors needed for a monograph on social conflict in the United States during the Gilded Age and Progressive Era. This work is already under contract and due for publication shortly so only authors able to turn around a brief essay (2000 - 3000 words) and ancillary materials for specific chapters should inquire. Chapters needed include: Populism and Agrarian Reforms; Party Politics and the Rise of Progressivism; Migrating Populations and Social Unrest in the West; American Imperialism and Its Detractors; The United States and the East; Urbanization and Mass Consumption in the U.S.
