The Air Force Historical Foundation Symposium will be held October 8, 2009, in Arlington, Virginia. The theme is The Balkans Air Campaigns in the 1990s and Their Influence Since 2001. A morning panel will concentrate on air operations in Bosnia and Kosovo (combat, combat support, preparation for combat, and lessons learned) and the afternoon panel on the aftermath, including air warfare since 2001. The symposium committee will consider presentations on all aspects of combat, including training, logistics, intelligence, etc. Potential presenters should send proposals (maximum two pages) and short c. v. (maximum two pages) by email to Tom Bradley, Executive Director of the Foundation, at execdir@afhistoricalfoundation.org. Deadline is April 30, 2009.
