All students and people interested in the history of education are welcome to join us as a panel of speakers try to shed light on the theory and practice of history-making. Cost, includes lunch: members £17, non-members £27 (includes a year’s membership of the History of Education Society with copies of the History of Education Researcher
Morning Session
1) ‘Post-war English – mixed methods in a study of three London Schools’ Speakers: John Hardcastle (Institute of Education), Patrick Kingwell (former Local Government Officer, volunteer consultant and ex-pupil at Walworth School), Peter Medway (Kings College)
2) What is history of education today? Panel session led by Stephanie Spencer (University of Winchester), Vincent Carpentier (Institute of Education) and Camilla Leach followed by Q&A
