This conference is a cross-disciplinary forum designed to provide
graduate and professional students of color the opportunity to present their original work to a community of peers, colleagues, and faculty.
CONFERENCE IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Keynote speaker: Dr. Farah J. Griffin, Columbia University
Conference will also include: An Academic Panel for Black Graduate Students
Dr. Darlene Clark Hine- History. African American Studies, Dr. Jennifer Richeson- Dept of Psychology, Dr. Guillermo Ameer - Engineering Dr. Russ Joseph -Electrical Engineering and Moderated by Dr. Celeste Watkins- Hayes - African American Studies/ Sociology
Submission Dates
March 2nd: Abstract Submission & Early Registration Deadline (deadline extended until March 12, 2009 )
March 25th: General Registration Deadline
April 1st: Paper Submission Deadline
Hotel rooms are provided (free) for out of town presenters who register by 3/12/2009
