The annual 2009 conference of the Irish Association for Russian, Central and East European Studies (IARCEES), hosted by the Centre for the Study of a Wider Europe at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth (CSWE), will focus on the evaluation of '1989-Twenty years after.' The conference is aimed at discussing the methodological implications of these two decades on transition research, migration processes, the enlargement of the European Union and Ireland's geographic position and economic relations in this context.
The conference will be held between 8 and 9 May and be hosted by the Centre for the Study of a Wider Europe on the North Campus of the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
