The conference, occurring September 3-4 2009, aims to bring together scholars from a variety of disciplines in Middle Eastern studies, providing a reputable platform to showcase research carried out on the region. The BRISMES Graduate Section seeks to promote an inter-disciplinary approach to Middle Eastern studies in this event, allowing graduate students to share ideas, receive feedback on their research and exercise their critical abilities. It will also provide guidance on career development from professionals in the field.
This event is open to all graduate students. Please register by 7th August 2009 to benefit the early registration discount.
Before 7th August
Non-BRISMES members: £30.00, both days inclusive.(The cost will cover: membership to BRISMES for 2009, conference registration fee, refreshments, lunch (both days), wine reception and conference dinner (first day))
BRISMES members: £10.00. (The cost will cover the same as above, minus BRISMES fees)
After 7th August
Non-BRISMES members: £35.00
BRISMES members: £15.00
