The Florida State University Department of Religion is pleased to announce its eighth annual Religion Graduate Student Symposium to be held February 20-22, 2009. Graduate students from around the country will be presenting papers engaging this year’s theme, “Identity, Boundaries and Movement in Religion.”
The weekend's events include: a keynote address by Dr. Russell McCutcheon, "Religion Before 'Religion': On the Persistence of Imagining Religion;" a panel discussion lead by Dr. John Corrigan, "Publish, Don't Perish: Professional Pointers from a Panel of Professors;"a preview screening of the film "God's Architects" by Zachary Godshall.
