The Humanities Education and Research Association (HERA)is pleased to announce the theme of its 2009 conference "Nature and the Humanities: Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Perspectives." All areas of the humanities including art, art history, dance, English, film, foreign languages, history, interdisciplinary studies, music, philosophy, religious studies, and theater are welcomed. Papers, presentations, and workshops will take interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches as related to both Western and non-Western cultures. The conference will be held from April 9 - 11, 2009 at the Palmer House, Chicago, Illinois.
