An international conference, gathering anthropologists, historians, art historians, collectors and manufacturers on the theme of "trench art and war souvenirs". Not only "trench art" from the First World War will be considered, but also from the Second World War, as well as from the Bosnian wars. Particular interest will be given to the "meaning" these objects behold for those manufacturing or collecting them. It will also focus on the phenomenon of "café-museums" to be found all along the former Western Front of World War 1.
