Registration is now open for the conference ‘What did Mr Miniver Read? The Fears and Aspirations of the Masculine Middlebrow, 1880-1950s’, 13-14 March, Institute of English Studies, University of London. We warmly welcome postgraduate students and independent scholars working in the history, culture and literatures of this field, and are grateful for the support shown by the Bibliographical Society for their generous grant for postgraduate bursaries, and to Persephone Books and Adam Matthew Digital for their support for the conference.
