German Summer School

The Sommerschule is a fully-accredited, intensive German language program, co-sponsored by the Goethe Institut/German Cultural Center. The program offers intensive instruction to adult learners of all ages from the beginning to the advanced level in a German-only environment.
This rigorous academic program is ideally suited for anyone who wants to develop his or her German language proficiency in an immersion setting. The program draws participants from all over the U.S. Students and instructors live together in a modern and pleasant environment, offering a microcosm of the German-speaking world. In addition to the required core instruction in the morning, optional short courses on topics such as Business German, Intercultural Communication and Pronunciation and Intonation will be offered in the afternoons. Finally, we have an extensive extra-curricular program including workshops, film screenings, cultural presentations, lectures, as well as excursions.
