AHRC is funding some specialist one day training workshops on some of the archival sources available to modern/contemporary historians.
The next two workshops in the programme are as follows:

Organised by Professor Duncan Tanner, the workshops are suitable for postgraduates who are planning their current project or considering how to continue their work. The sessions are led by researchers and archivists who have used or who manage some of the main research archives in the UK. They provide practical information on the contents of collections and on what students can expect to find.
We are offering travel / accommodation bursaries to PhD students. MA students are welcome to attend but must cover their own travel costs and pay a registration fee of £15. Bursary application forms and MA booking forms are available on our website.
