Panelists are sought for a session for the 2009 Middle Atlantic American Studies Association Annual Meeting, to be held at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. In keeping with the theme Faith, Politics, Culture, the panel will investigate gay rights and religious traditions. Panelists may interrogate a historical questions or scenes (such as religious response to Harvey Milk), physical contact zones (such as street protests outside California churches post-Prop 8), or any topic related.
Interested participants should email rebeccabfox@ku.edu by January 14th. Please send a 1 page CV, a tentative title, a 250 word proposal, and any AV requests.
