This course is designed to expose the experienced forensic scientist Ė as well as the novice Ė to the latest state-of-the-art techniques in the practice of forensics, with a specific emphasis on mass disaster and dental identification. The computer integrated course will prepare its participants to be a valuable asset to any identification team, as well as help them to gain an awareness of the myriad of agencies and scientific disciplines in the area of forensics.
The course has also been recognized and endorsed by the American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO) in fulfilling key requirements towards board certification.
These are just one of the many courses offered through AFIPís CME program, which was recently awarded a six-year accreditation by the ACCME Ė the highest mark that any ACCME-accredited provider can receive. Less than 1% of the several hundred CME providers nationwide receive this honor.
