Call for Papers for volume 58: PIRATES
We are seeking well researched and clearly written essays discussing all aspects of pirates and piracy, with particular attention to pirates in literature, film, and contemporary life. Essays that address our fascination with and romanticization of pirates are especially welcome.
Length: 5000-6000 words, including endnotes.
Style: Chicago, 15th edition.
Deadline for completed papers: 4 April 2009
