'Anthem Academic Studies' – A New Approach to Publishing Monographs
Anthem Academic Studies offers a new approach to publishing that aims to ensure valuable scholarly monographs are published and available to relevant academic audiences. The series requires authors to arrange and supply two peer reviews from doctoral supervisor, examiners, or relevant academics in the field; supporting marketing material for the volume; fully copyedited and correctly formatted manuscript for typesetting, and full index developed from supplied galley proofs. We believe our pioneering approach of engaging the author in relevant stages of the publishing process will enable us to support academic studies across a range of subjects. We also believe that scholarly authors will benefit from contributing to a series that offers the potential for publication within three months of initial proposal. We welcome submissions from all academic fields including arts, humanities and sciences. Proposals will be judged on their academic merit and the ability of the author to meet the submission criteria.
We would require the following materials as part of a proposal: A completed Academic Studies Series Proposal Form; the author’s full CV; a sample excerpt from the manuscript (of up to 4,000 words); and two independent peer reviews from relevant authorities in the field (of up to 1,500 words). These endorsements should be of the final monograph being submitted and not for the initial research. For further details about the manuscript submission process, and the publisher’s contact with peer reviewers, please contact us at the above addresses, or write to us at proposal@wpcpress.com. All emails and correspondence should be addressed to the Academic Studies Editor.
