‘Anthem Media and Film Studies’ publishes lucid and thorough works of scholarship and commentary that address contemporary debates relating to the mediums of television, radio, print media, cinema and the internet. Titles in the series will include monographs, critical studies, collected essays and interviews that advance scholarship, research and discourse in the field. We welcome the opportunity to pursue co-publishing ventures with institutions and organizations connected with media and film studies. Titles published in ‘Anthem Media and Film Studies’ series benefit from first rate production standards, and commitment to securing relevant image content to support text. The first title in this series ‘Action! Interviews with Directors from Classical Hollywood to Contemporary Iran’, is set for publication in Spring 2009.
We welcome submissions of proposals for challenging and original works that meet the criteria of this series.
