For this edition of the colloquium, we are seeking: panels, round tables, workshops and other artistic and performing activities. We will accept papers on the following topics, but we’re also open to proposals on other topics:

• “queer” sexualities and media
• “queer” sexualities and violence
• “queer” sexualities and work
• “queer” sexualities and health
• “queer” sexualities, class and race
• “queer” sexualities, technology and science
• “queer” sexualities, youth and adolescents
• “queer” sexualities and (re)socializations
• “queer” sexualities and Diasporas
• “queer” sexualities, religion(s) and spirituality
• “queer” sexualities and the government
• “queer” sexualities and their historical development
• “queer” sexualities, multiculturalism and globalization
• “queer” sexualities and testimony (by family, friends…)

Requirements for submitting proposals

All proposals should include the following:

• Title and category
• Name, affiliation, and e-mail address of all presenters
• Abstract of the paper in less than 800 words
• Audiovisual requirements

All proposals should be sent in either MS Word or PDF to:

Important dates:

October 1st, 2009 – Deadline for submitting proposals
November 1st, 2009 – Notification of acceptance or rejection of proposals
December 1st, 2009 – Deadline for confirmation of assistance and submission of papers.
