This is the Second Ámphictyony of Societies of History of Medicine and Ethics in Medicine, organized by the International Hippocratic Foundation of Kos. It will take place in the Kos Island, Greece, on 30 April - 3 May 2009. The main topic of the Congress will be Asclepieia all around the world, but all aspects of Hippocratic medicine will be covered, in all fields and epochs, among others: Ethics and Deontology, Hippocratic Plants, Medical Votives, Sainted Physicians, Early Hippocratic Printings, Medical Philately, Medical Publicity, Medical & Surgical Instruments, History of Medicaments.
