The Graduate School “Human Development in Landscapes” at the Christian Albrechts-University in Kiel is glad to announce its open workshop “Socio-environmental dynamics over the last 12,000 years: the creation of landscapes” , which will take place on April 1-4, 2009 at the University of Kiel.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers from different disciplines to discuss the current state,
perspectives and problems of socio-environmental change over the last 12000 years. Within this frame we invite researchers interested to participate in any of the 7 sessions (please see pdf leaflet at link), to send their abstracts in English until December, the 22nd, 2008.
As it is mentioned in the flyer, there are 20 travel grants up to 500 euros for selected abstracts of doctoral students.
