The Irish History Students' Association (IHSA) is pleased to announce that its Annual Conference will take place at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March 2009. The IHSA is a cross-border association for students of history in Irish universities. Submissions are invited on all historical topics from postgraduate and undergraduate students. We also particularly welcome students from outside of Ireland who are working on Irish topics.
Abstracts not exceeding 250 words, along with a short author profile, should be submitted by Friday 16 January 2009 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Papers should not exceed 2,500-3,000 words (20 minutes' delivery). A full conference schedule will be issued in early February 2009. The conference fee is €20 and should be paid at registration.
