Papers sought for a workshop on the cultures at the heart of former Yugoslavia. The official title is "Serbs and Croats, Politics and Power." Papers may take a political, cultural, economic or literary approach to the theme. Participants may examine the Serb-Croat relationship, or focus exclusively on Serbian or Croatian topics. Papers about the Serbian, Croatian or Dalmatian diasporas are also welcome.
This workshop is the latest in an ongoing series of East European workshops organized by the Antipodean East European Study Group. There is no registration fee, and limited funds may be available to support conference participants. Participants must submit an abstract by the end of February, but are encouraged to contact the organizer as soon as possible.
