Academic Exchange Quarterly, a peer-reviewed journal appearing in print and electronic format, will include in its Summer 2009 issue (volume 13, issue 2) a cluster of essays on Teaching the Novel and Short Fiction. Literature and creative writing instructors at all levels (including universities, community colleges, and high schools) are invited to submit short, academic essays to the journal.
To have your work considered for the Summer 2009 issue, please submit (as MSWord attachment) your manuscript of 2,000 to 3,000 words by February 28, 2009. (Early submission is encouraged. Publication in later issues is also a possibility.) All submissions to the journal undergo double-blind peer review by two or three external reviewers. If you have questions about the submission process, please contact the feature editor (see contact information for James Kelley below). The feature editor will gladly answer questions related to your submission, but you must submit the manuscript directly to the journal itself.
