Panels are now forming on topics related to culture(s), literature, ethnography, film, pop culture, folk culture, history, art, photography, railroads, geography, archeology, etc. Our goal is to provide a forum that will enhance the quality of undergraduate research, which has come to the forefront of offerings from institutions of higher learning, world-wide. Southwest/Texas PCA/ACA developed this panel to provide a means by which the results of undergraduate research can be shared with the academic and professional communities. Both associations are regional affiliates of the national chapters of the Popular Culture and American Culture Associations.
If you wish to form your own panel with a specific focus, we would be glad to facilitate your needs. Also, if your work does not focus on the broad range of areas designated for the upcoming conference on American & Popular culture, we still encourage you to participate. Please pass this call along to friends and colleagues.
Send 250 word abstracts and proposals for panels by 15 December 2008
