'Mapping our Anzacs', a new website developed by the National Archives of Australia, provides a map-based interface to the 375,000+ World War I service records in the NAA collection.
Markers on the maps identify places around the world where Australian service people were born or enlisted. Clicking on the markers allows you to view details of the individuals, with links to digitised copies of their service records.
'Mapping our Anzacs' is meant to encourage browsing and exploration, allowing researchers to finds connections and contexts that might not otherwise be visible.
