The Institute of Caribbean Studies, of the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, announces the lecture “A SON DE CLAVE: LAS INTERACCIONES SOCIO-MUSICALES ENTRE CUBA Y PUERTO RICO EN LA COLECCIÓN JOHN ALDEN MASON, 1914-1915” by Dr. Hugo Viera Vargas, Department of Humanities, Universidad Metropolitana. The activity will be held on Thursday, November 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in REB Rm 238, Faculty of the Social Sciences. This is the ninth of CONFERENCIAS CARIBEÑAS 3 program, organized by the Institute of Caribbean Studies to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
