Proposed papers or panels on any historical topic, time or place may be submitted (brief CV and one page abstract) by January 15 for the 82nd conference of the New England Historical Association (NEHA) on April 18, 2009 at the University of Southern Maine in Portland. Email the program chair, Professor Laura Prieto (laura.prieto@simmons.edu) for further information. NEHA welcomes papers by scholars and graduate students from within or outside New England. Panels cover all areas of history and are NOT limited to the history of the USA or New England. The AHA format is used for the conference program.
