In this unique two-year M.A. program, traditional study in the Humanities is inflected by Pacifica's focus on Jungian psychology, spiritual exploration, and the history of myth. Students in the program work primarily online, gathering on campus in Santa Barbara twice each year for week-long residential sessions featuring guest speakers, classroom presentations, lectures, and communal meals with fellow students and faculty. The program is strongly interdisciplinary, and tailored to the needs of working adults seeking to combine an accredited program of academic study with creativity, psychological exploration, and the opportunity for personal growth.
