The International Conference on Translation Studies and Translation between Chinese and English jointly organized by the Department of Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies, University of Warwick, UK, will be held on 11-12 December 2008, at Lecture Theatre 1, Esther Lee Building, Chung Chi College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
This Conference provides a platform for researchers and scholars in the field of translation to discuss the theoretical and practical aspects of translation. Scholars and translation experts in the United Kingdom, Europe, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are invited to present papers. In parallel with the Conference, there is an exhibition area displaying our speakers' book publications.
