Religious Practice and Health: What the Research Says
|
The Heritage Foundation will host the second annual religious research conference, Religious Practice in America, which will focus on the interplay of religion and health policy. Research partners include the Baylor Institute for the Studies of Religion, and Child Trends. Target audience includes media, academics, government policy makers, scholars, organizations and individuals interested in religion issues.
This year’s conference "Religious Practice and Health: What the Research Says" will be held December 3, 2008 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Leading researchers in the field will present their findings about the role of religious practice in health and mental health outcomes.
