**Reminder: Applications for the 'Effective FOIA Requesting for Researchers' workshop, being run on 5 December 2008 by George Washington University and the National Security Archive, are due on Thursday October 30th.**

The workshop offers a unique training opportunity in how to use the Freedom of Information Act and is designed for doctoral students in any discipline whose work involves archival research. GWU will offer overnight accommodation and successful applicants may apply for subsidized travel.
