Thematic papers are encouraged, but we welcome paper proposals on all women's studies topics.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE for INDIVIDUAL PAPERS and SESSIONS of 3-5 PAPERS:
December 10, 2008
Send talk title, abstract, author name and bio, and email contact information by Dec. 10 to:
womens_st@appstate.edu ~please use "SEWSA" in the subject line.
Special conference discount for organizers of sessions that feature presenters from more than 2 different universities
Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than Feb. 1, 2009
REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND CONFERENCE FEES
Conference registration fee includes information packets, April 2 reception, two lunches, morning snack and coffee breaks, four speakers, access to all concurrent sessions, and shuttle service between the conference hotel and the ASU campus.
EARLY BIRDS-register by Feb. 15, 2009!
student/unemployed: $55 (or $65 if Feb. 16 and later, and on site)
all others: $120 (or $140 if Feb. 16 and later, and on site)
All conference presenters must also be dues-paying members of SEWSA.
