So papers are particularly sought on aspects of film, TV, and popular culture of the last 30 years with an emphasis on the popular culture of 1979.
Scholars, teachers, professionals, and others interested in California are encouraged to participate. Graduate students are particularly welcome with award opportunities for best graduate papers.
If you wish to form your own California-focused panel, I would be glad to facilitate your needs. Also, if your work does not focus on California but fits within the broad range of areas designated for the upcoming conference on American & Popular culture, I still encourage you to participate.
