Latin American Community: Tradition, Transition, and Identity
The Latin American Studies Program at Stephen F. Austin State University invites submissions of papers, panel proposals, round table discussions for a conference April 2-4, 2009 on the SFA campus in Nacogdoches, Texas. Papers may relate to any aspect of Latin America, but preference will be given to papers related to the conference theme. Subjects may include, but are not limited to: art, anthropology, economy, education, forestry, geography, health, history, literature, linguistics, music, and sociology. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words in length. Papers will be accepted in English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese. Selected papers will be published.
Deadline for submissions: December 1, 2008.
