The Public Sphere seeks submissions for the next issue of our magazine. We are a new magazine focusing on cultural life, and we are looking for essays and art that query public life. We especially seek pieces that explore the topic, “Season of Change.” As we move into 2009 and the end of the Bush era, what changes are afoot? What challenges face the U.S. and the world in the coming era? How do we even gauge or measure change? If you are interested in writing for our next issue, please submit your piece via e-mail in either .rtf or .doc format to The Public Sphere by November 15, 2008. Essays should be no longer than 2000 words. Artistic interpretations should be submitted in .jpg format. Poetry and short fiction are also welcome.
See site for further submissions guidelines.
