Panel is now forming regarding the relationship between myth and history in the southewest borderlands. This panel will be a component of the larger Southwest/Texas Popular & American Culture Associations 30th Annual Conference that will focus on topics related to all areas of myth and fairy tale and their connections to popular culture. Those interested in participating in this particular panel should submit papers focused on some aspect of the interaction of myth and history and the relationship to popular culture. Panelists are encouraged to focus on the southwest borderlands, but papers that fall outside the scope will be considered if they are pertinent to the larger theme.
The panel encourages submissions from graduate students, scholars, professionals, and anyone interested in myth and history.
