The Institute of Caribbean Studies, of the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, announces the lecture “Area Studies and Institutional Realignments: Insights from Caribbeanist Anthropology” by Dr. Deborah Thomas, Department of Anthropology, University of Pennsylvania. The lecture will be commented by Dr. María Isabel Quiñones, professor of the Social Sciences Department, General Studies Faculty, UPR-RP.
The activity will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in REB Rm 238, Faculty of the Social Sciences. This is the fifth of CONFERENCIAS CARIBEÑAS 3 program, organized by the Institute of Caribbean Studies to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
