"The City in Medieval Life and Culture" is the theme of the 36th annual Sewanee Medieval Colloquium, to be held at the University of the South, Sewanee, TN, on 3 and 4 April 2009. Plenary lecturers are John Najemy (Cornell University) and Pamela King (University of Bristol). Proposals are invited for papers or sessions relating to any aspect of the theme. Please submit abstract (maximum 250 words) and brief curriculum vitae to sridyard@sewanee.edu no later than 7 October 2008 (extended from 1 Oct.). If you would like to propose a session, please include abstracts and vitae from all participants.
