The History Department at Eastern Illinois University in conjunction with the Barry D. Riccio Memorial Fund will host a “Symposium on the New Deal in Illinois,” October 9, 2008, featuring panel presentations and a keynote address by Dr. Donald Ritchie, associate historian of the United States Senate and author of Electing FDR (University of Kansas Press, 2007). All events will take place in the Martin Luther King Student Union on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. For more information and a schedule please contact Dr. Edmund F.
