Call for Papers - Pennsylvania Historical Association
78th Annual Meeting, October 22-24, 2009
Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Historical Association invites proposals for individual papers, roundtable discussions, and special sessions at their annual meeting in October 2009. This meeting is open to scholars, researchers, educators, public historians, and profesisonals who share an interest in the history of Pennsylvania and the Mid-atlantic region from its founding to the present. The Mid-Atlantic region includes all states bordering Pennsylvania as well as the District of Columbia, greater Appalahia, and the upper Ohio River Valley.
Electronic submissions are preferred; those submitting through regular mail, should send six copies. Proposals should include a title, description of paper and/or panel, brief CV for all participants, and full contact information.
Participants will be notified the committee's decision no later than April 2009.
