The Alaska Historical Society will hold the 2008 annual meeting and conference at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, October 16 - 18, 2008. The theme "Alaska Visionaries: Seekers, Leaders, and Dreamers" provides an opportunity to discuss fifty years of Alaska statehood and the men and women who helped shape modern Alaska.
