The Georgia Association of Historians invites panel and paper proposals from university faculty, graduate students, public historians, and independent scholars for its annual conference to be held 26-28 February 2009 at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, Georgia. Papers and panels that address the theme, “Mining Historical Frontiers,” are particularly encouraged. The GAH welcomes proposals from all areas and subfields of history, including US history, world history, public history, regional studies, and proposals focused on the teaching of history.
