The Journal of Indonesian Islam is calling for submissions for next following edition, Vol 2, No. 1 2009. The papers should deal with aspects of Indonesian Islam especially in relation to the following areas of study:
- culture (popular culture, indigenous culture etc.)
- politics (party politics, democracy, democratisation etc.)
- human rights (child protection, violence, etc.)
- society (social movement, social institution, inter-religious relationship etc.)
- economics (political economy, business etc.)
- history (historical development of the past and the present)
- doctrines (theology, ideology, etc.)
